The Golf Course Maintenance Department is currently seeking seasonal help beginning March 1, 2024 and ending October 31, 2024; 25hrs/wk. Scheduled days will either be T-Sa or Su-TR.

This position works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance. They are responsible for semi-skilled grounds maintenance work, and related tasks as required. Irrigation experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Operates powered equipment associated with the care of a golf course: mowers, bunker rakes, tractors, edgers, trimmers
• Perform tasks associated with landscape beds; pull weeds, bed prep., edging, trim shrubs, plant flowers, freshen up mulch, etc.
• Perform task associated with golf course setup; change cups, move tees, collect trash, maintain ball washers, rake bunkers etc.
• Operates light equipment; carts / utility vehicles.

Job Requirements

• Dependability - show up to work on time ready to go.
• Able to understand and follow detailed written and or oral instructions
• No experience necessary but willingness to learn is!
• Individuals should be able to lift 50lbs.
• Uniforms and lunches are provided.
• Season begins March 1 and ends October 31
• Must be able to work T-Sa or Su-TR, 5:30am - 10:30 am and weekends & Holidays as needed; Potential Overtime!!
• Must have reliable transportation! We work outside (so you must be able to endure what mother nature gives us.)
• Starting Pay $13-16/hr. DOE

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general maintenance work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and lawn care practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
