The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. in Wausau is currently interviewing for Hosts! We are looking for fun, energetic, and hard working individuals who love interacting with our guests! No experience necessary. This position starts at $12 per hour for part time team members, with higher wages available to those with previous hosting experience or excellent availability! Currently we are looking to hire a host with weekday, daytime availability.

Hosts primary responsibilities are greeting and seating guests, taking reservations and answering phone calls. This is also a great starting position if you're looking to move on to Serving, Bartending, or becoming a Manager or are simply looking for part-time or full time hours in a fun working environment!

We are currently looking for team members that are flexible and willing to work other positions as they are available as well. Including the roles of Server Assistant and Food Expeditor. These roles revolve around supporting our serving staff and are great ways for you to learn the skills needed to become a member of our service team!

Server Assistants assist servers in delivering food to guests, cleaning tables, stocking needed supplies and any other tasks the staff needs assistance with during the shift. This position starts at $8/hour tips, typically a Server Assistant makes anywhere from $15-20 per hour!

Food Expeditors help get the food from the kitchen to the front of house. The expo will plate dishes when they are prepared and garnish them for the servers or server assistants to deliver to guests. The position starts at $11 per hour tips and has some shifts paid a higher hourly rate when working weekday mornings. This position also averages $15-25 per hour!
