The Granite YMCA of Concord is hiring for an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Water Aerobics Instructor. The Instructor is responsible for coaching a wide variety of aquatics exercise classes to a committed and regular population of our members who thoroughly enjoy the movement and socialization these classes bring. Position Specifics:
Part time schedule is based on the 7–8-week swim lesson sessions
Hours available weekday mornings and evenings and on weekend mornings
Pay range $17 - $19hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
Teach Water Exercise classes to a variety of ability groups
Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area
Responsible to keep certifications current
Responsible for setting out and picking up equipment before and after class
Support the lifeguard team in the event of an emergency
