Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and conscientious Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling samples of quartz and porcelain tile from our warehouse, driving to various locations to install and update displays, and ensuring that all installations are done with precision and care. This role requires someone physically fit, with the ability to lift 40 lbs., and has a strong work ethic. A good driving record is imperative as the position involves driving company vehicles to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and organize samples of quartz and porcelain tile from the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to customer locations to install new displays and update existing ones.
• Ensure all displays are installed accurately and professionally, meeting company standards.
• Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in the workspace and while on the job.
• Communicate effectively with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate display needs and updates.
• Handle and transport samples and materials with care, ensuring no damage occurs.
• Keep accurate records of installations, updates, and inventory used.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at installation sites.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or issues promptly to management.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. comfortably.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in the tile/stone industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Capable of driving for long periods and navigating to various locations.
