The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome is now hiring an Energetic & Passionate Activity Aid for our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Full-time 8am-4pm and E/O/W
Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits Package!
Duties Include:
- Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interests.
- Work directly with Residents on units; without direct supervision.
- Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
- Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed.
- Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.
- Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.
- Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
Requirements Include:
- Preferred Exp. with activities in a healthcare settings
- 18 with High School Diploma or equivalency
- Clean driver’s license
- Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred
- Basic computer skills necessary
- Positive attitude and energy is a must!!
- Willingness to drive small passenger bus for resident outings
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
