POSITION SUMMARY:

The Testing Coordinator (TC) is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of testing and assessment activities at the campus. The TC will ensure compliance with testing regulations, coordinate test administration and maintain accurate records The TC will work closely with the Campus Director and Student Success Coach to ensure a smooth testing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate and administer all assessments, including diagnostic, exit-level state, certification, language proficiency, and TELPAS, in collaboration with the District Testing Coordinator.

· Ensure compliance with state and local testing regulations, guidelines, and procedures.

· Establish and maintain security of all testing materials.

· Examine all testing documentation for accuracy.

· Arrange for the timely delivery of testing materials to the campus.

· Document and report any testing irregularities that occur during a testing session.

· Communicate testing schedules, procedures, and expectations to students, faculty, and staff.

· Organize and plan testing sessions.

· Maintain accurate records of student testing results, ensuing confidentiality and security of student information.

· Compile and analyze test data and generate reports.

· Collaborate with the Campus Director to utilize test results for program evaluation and improvement.

· Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test scores to students.

· Work closely with students and staff to determine and implement necessary accommodations for students with disabilities or special needs during testing.

· Communicate with students about available resources for test preparation and provide guidance on test-taking strategies.

· Provide training for staff involved in test administration.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain confidentiality of information.

· Comply with policies established by federal and state law, including, but not limited to, State Board of Education and local Board policy.

· Assist district and campus teams with outreach and engagement events throughout the school year (periodically at nights and on weekends).

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Associates’ degree from an accredited college or university.

· Three years’ experience with high school testing.

· Must have working knowledge of computer programs and accessing internet applications such as Student Information Systems, Microsoft Products, Google Applications (Gmail), and Internet Explorer.

· Detail-oriented, passion for accuracy.

· Experience working with high school age students in urban, non-traditional, and/or adult education setting; Possess understanding of marginalization and how it impacts those Goodwill serves and employs; Exhibit respect for diversity of thought and have experience to advance it in teams/organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

· Five years’ experience with high school testing.

· Bilingual in Spanish and English.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

· Starting at $19/Hr. based on experience and qualifications.

· This is a 11-month position.
