(2) In addition to the degree specifications in Subsection (1) above, all of the following coursework and field practice or experience shall be required of all new hires effective January 1, 1993:
a. At least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency setting at the Master's Degree level.
b. At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families, or 18 months experience in working with children and families.
c. At least three semester units in working with minority populations; six months of experience in working with minority populations; or six months in-service training in working with minority
populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities and Obligations:
Supervisor shall be responsible of the following:
1) Have the education and experience, and the core competencies necessary to competently participate
in the assessment and evaluation of an applicant or Resource Family;
2) Be trained to perform assigned tasks;
3) Participate in the assessment and evaluation of an applicant or Resource Family meet core competency
requirements, including having necessary knowledge and skills.
"Knowledge" includes an understanding of the following:
