Overview

Responsibilities include assisting the Custodial Manager to oversee and participate in the daily cleaning and maintenance of all buildings at the resort. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and participate in restroom stocking and cleaning, vacuuming, window cleaning, mopping, dusting, ladder climbing, painting, carpet cleaning, sanding, light maintenance on buildings and changing light bulbs.

* Trash removal.

* Communicate tasks and delegate to crewmembers as needed.

* Tend fires.

* Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees: participating in safety meetings: accepting diverse assignments: maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.

* Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.

* Supervise and organize recycling program and cardboard removal.

* Work with Food & Beverage, Events, and Group Sales for special events and functions.

* Communicate, organize and schedule day and night cleaning crews.

* Assist the manager with ordering department supplies and maintaining expense budget.

* Maintain and repair vacuum cleaners, carpet and floor machines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
