A little bit about the family:

  • The family loves going to the zoo, movies, and the beach together! The family does have a cat and dog. So a nanny/babysitter would need to be comfortable with animals. Their 8 year old son is very social and loves to talk. He has high functioning autism and is very smart. He loves playing basketball, baseball, dancing, and electronics. Their son is allergic to dairy. Their son is allowed some screen time during the day. It is dependent on his day at school and if he is allowed to earn some time on it. They only allow him to watch nice videos (no car wrecks or accidents or foul language).
  • The is a consequence type of approach. Their son is usually a pretty good kid. If he does act up then the parents usually have to take his electronics away until he is able to earn them back.
