All of the teachers and assistants at The Goddard School are responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Free childcare for fulltime employees.

General Qualifications

We are seeking entry-level Infant , Toddler & Preschool Teachers and assistants to join our school! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children while offering emotional and caretaking support.

Responsibilities

• Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, potty-training and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Communicate with parents on their child's growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications

• Be a reliable individual arriving to work on-time regularly and willing to work a 5 day a week schedule
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred but not required.
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and co-workers
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills'
