Job Description:

The Goddard School® in Wilton, CT, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking Teachers to nurture healthy development in children and encourage a life long love of learning. Our staff is made of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each child’s needs.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing lesson plans
• Meeting the individual needs of the children including feeding and diapering/potty training
• Participating in staff and training meetings
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning

• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with children, parents and fellow staff
• Meeting Goddard Quality Assurance and CT state licensing requirements
• Using and completing assessment tools

Qualifications:

• Associates or BA or prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool)
• Must pass BCI background check and FBI Fingerprinting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
