The Goddard School in Falls Church is seeking both full and part time Assistant Teachers to create meaningful experiences that will foster the curiosity and development of our young learners. Overview of Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment

Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creating and implementing activities in and out of the classroom

Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance

Establish positive and effective family relations

Ensure an effective program, responsive to children’s needs

Maintain professional commitment

Qualifications:

Maintaining a happy, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all times

Always being a team player

A minimum of High School degree

Ability to relate positively with young children

Must have reliable attendance and accountability

Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program

CPR/First Aid Certification (perferred)

Falls Church, VA 22042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
