The Goddard School located in Independence, OH, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking an experienced, qualified, caring, and energetic Afternoon Teacher. The Goddard School is much more than a day care. We provide care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children.
Our Afternoon Teachers are sometimes called ‘floaters’ because that’s what they do – they regularly ‘float’ between classrooms. Afternoon Teachers are very important to our school and support all the various ages and classrooms. ALL Afternoon Teachers need to be able to work until 6pm, Monday through Friday. No Nights! No Weekends! Starting time can vary based on YOUR needs!
As an Afternoon Teacher, you will:

• Lead hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.
• Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
