Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teachers to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Responsibilities:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum

- Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children

- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities

- Conduct assessments to track each child's progress

- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education

- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

- Supervise children during outdoor playtime and field trips

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior

Experience:

- Previous experience in toddler care or early childhood education is preferred

- Knowledge of curriculum development for children 18 months to 30 months old

- Understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

- Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations

- Experience in physical education or promoting physical activity among young children

- Strong literacy education skills, including reading readiness activities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, Associate's degree in ECE or Child Development Associates Certificate (preferred)

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in working with young children

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
