The Goal Family of Companies is Hiring a Licensing Assistant Near Sioux Falls, SD

Job Description:

The Licensing Assistant will report to the Licensing [Supervisor] and perform various administrative tasks related to all aspects of the maintenance and compliance of the Company’s state and regulatory licenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of licensing applications and renewals.
  • Track and report on 100 licenses.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries with speed and professionalism.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, such as filing forms and other records, with the Secretary of State for foreign LLC and d/b/a registrations.
  • Calendaring
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
  • Assist in and work with the Compliance and Legal team to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Work to proactively meet deadlines.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Education & Other Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of experience in administrative support.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as attentiveness to details and a commitment to follow up. Able to effectively manage several administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle confidential corporate information in a discrete and professional manner.
  • Ability to work and complete tasks independently

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience dealing with government employees and state agencies and use of the Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (“NMLS”) preferred.
  • Existing notary or ability to obtain notary.
  • Previous experience working with loan servicers and/or collection agencies.
