Job Description:

This is a hybrid role which involves both security and maintenance. It offers a great opportunity to the experienced Security Officer who enjoys manual tasks from painting and decorating to moving furniture to unblocking drains.

The primary purpose of this position is to act as a deterrent to crime and oversee resident safety. As a Security Officer you will respond to all resident emergency calls, observing and reporting any unusual activities that take place throughout the property. You will enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care, and protect the rights of all residents within the framework of Federal, State and Local laws.To carry out these ideals, within the law and the rules of this institution, you will have the power to act as your professional judgment requires.

The maintenance arm of your role will require you to assist with general on-site repairs as directed by your manager/supervisor, working as an enthusiastic team player to complete tasks and meet needs as they become apparent.

• Monitor alarms and closed-circuit television cameras.
• Perform data entry.
• Answer phones and direct calls accordingly.
• Contact emergency services as needed.
• Skills required include great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Must have some experience or training in computer operation.

• Must have two years Experience.
• Minimum of HS diploma or GED.
• Valid AZ driver's license.
