Compensation for this role: $20 - $21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift – 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM (30 hours per week/benefit eligible)

Summary:

Performs housekeeping/janitorial duties to maintain clean and orderly facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Vacuums dust that accumulates throughout the facility.
• Cleans windows and glass doors in lobby and entrance areas.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas as instructed.
• Dusts the lobby tabletops.
• Collects and disposes of trash.
• Cleans breakroom and kitchen area tables, chairs, sinks, appliances, counters.
• Cleans bathroom sinks, floors, mirror, toilet, urinals, and restocks supplies.
• Wipes down or vacuums machinery and equipment.
• Cleans and vacuums dust that accumulates on light fixtures and in high areas.
• Sweeps outside immediate entranceways as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of damage or repair throughout the facility.
• Maintains the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, bathroom supplies and notifies supervisor for replenishment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education (Required)

• High school diploma or GED; housekeeping/janitorial experience.
• Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies, safety manuals and general work order instructions.
• Capability to understand routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; balance; kneel; climb; crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands, and arms and talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
