Seeking a Spanish teacher for our Spanish Immersion School.

The candidate will:

• Use a variety of methods, materials, and techniques to teach preschool following Fairfax County curriculum in Spanish language.
• Creates lesson plans & classroom systems to ensure all students are fully engaged and learning.
• Establishe and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Listen and respond to student and parent concerns in a responsible, constructive and resourceful manner
• Support the school philosophy, community, and policies
• Adapt and differentiate instruction to meet students' individual learning needs and learning styles
• Speak English and Spanish
• Be energetic
• Work well with other staff and faculty members
• Be responsible and reliable
• Be attentive
• Be resourceful
• Be honest
• Be able to work in the United States

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree is required.

• Minimum 2 yrs experience teaching Spanish.
• Minimum 2 yrs experience teaching Preschool.
• Fluency and expertise in conversational and written Spanish.
• Knowledge and experience in child development and educational practices.
• Strong initiative and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
