The Giant Company is Hiring a Store Manager Near Connellsville, PA

Essential Functions:

· Provide quality customer service in every position within Giant/Martin’s Food Stores.

· Serve customers, which may consist of consumers, co-workers, vendors and business Associates. As much care should be given to handling our internal “customers”, as the ultimate consumer.

· Responsible for the policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of food safety and associate hygiene to include performance measures of both internal and external inspections, food recalls, general sanitation and associate training.

· Develop Giant’s “brand” image by acting as a company representative both within store and within community all while understanding and supporting the companies’ core strategies.

· Manage all financial metrics to budgeted targets to include: sales growth, margin targets, shrink targets, labor targets, expense targets, inventory on hand targets, and operating income targets.

· Maintain and ensure the highest quality of perishable items to meet company standards of freshness and code dating.

· Responsible for all department conditions in operations, both perishable and non-perishable.

· Responsible for proper support of the weekly company Ad and all other merchandising programs.

· Plan, organize, direct and control store activities utilizing delegation of duties to staff of assistants and department managers.

· Responsible for maximum utilization of store personnel through effective scheduling, counseling and evaluating programs, training programs, motivation, and supervision.

· Responsible for the staffing, training and development of all store personal, both direct report and in-direct report.

· Maintain compliance to all wage and hour laws.

· Manage a housekeeping program which ensures an orderly, clean store that is pleasing to the customer’s eye.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
