Store Shopper

Duties:
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate prices and handle transactions
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer purchases
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is properly displayed

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate pricing and cash handling
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of wireless sales is a plus
- Familiarity with cash register operations for handling transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain inventory organization

Please note that this is not a remote position. The Store Shopper role requires in-person availability at our retail location.

Do you love to shop? Our Giant Direct personal shoppers do. They spend their day selecting, scanning and packaging items to fill all online orders. Our personal shoppers have an eye for detail and are able to lift delivery containers up to 50 lbs, while working in a fast paced environment. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your fulfillment center.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
