```Duties```

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grills
- Upsell menu items to increase sales
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Stock and replenish deli products as needed

```Skills```

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Ability to upsell and promote additional menu items to customers
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management

Deli team members are responsible for handling and possessing knowledge of all deli products. They will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark and package product. They will also stock shelves, cases and bins while maintaining neat and attractive conditions and properly signed displays. Each position serves its own group of customers, which may consist of consumers, co-workers, vendors, and business associates. Team members must maintain proper prep area conditions to include cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
