Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Duties:
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and service areas
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist customers with menu selection and provide recommendations as needed
- Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure safe handling and storage of food items
- Maintain inventory levels and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Assist with cleaning duties including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
