Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties. The associate will engage customers and greet them as they enter their lane. Associate will demonstrate care in the processing and completion of the customer's order ensuring they have a great experience and will return again.
HOUSKEEPING:
The employee will perform housekeeping duties for their register station and keep work areas neat and clean.
Task 1: The Associate grasps item, scans item over reader, slides item down belt with the left hand.
Task 2: The Associate tallies items, takes money, makes change.
Task 3: The Associate bags items and puts bags into carts whenever necessary.
Task 4: The Associate sets-up other checkout lanes.
Task 5: The Associate performs other tasks whenever necessary (restocking items).
END OF SHIFT:
At the end of the shift, the employee will follow end of shift procedures
ASSIGNED DUTIES:
The employee will complete other duties, as directed by the Supervisor, within the Job Standard Physical Base Profile of this position.
