This role is responsible for the protection of company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of
asset(s) including merchandise, money and property. This role is responsible for preventing loss and shrink
within the assigned district(s) through monitoring, investigating, surveillance and other LP tactics. The
associate works closely within the Asset Protection team and store team to identify opportunities at store
level and where resources should be focused and deployed.

Financial/Core Functions
- Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
- This incumbent is the primary contact for any safety and security issues for stores in area of responsibility.
- Tours stores daily, identifying deficiencies and executing corrective action as necessary.
- Maintains awareness of high-risk areas in order to reduce/control merchandise losses.
- Review shrink best practices and execution of shrink reduction strategy drivers on stores visits. Check areas
such as rotation, backroom organization and additional follow up areas assigned by supervision.
- Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities seen in assigned district(s).
- Assist with preparation for NP inventories and attend NP inventories to assist with count audits and inventory
paperwork.
- Burn videos for Risk Management, Liaison Supply Chain, C&S and for investigations as needed.
- Submit electronic markdowns.
- Conduct focus walks and follow ups as necessary, including planning and executing training needs as identified
(KLT, product rotation, CAO, receiving, front end)
- Initiate service calls for locksmiths, keys and cores, alarms, CCTV

security training programs.
- Ensures a store environment safe from theft and provides a secure destination to shop.

- Ensures stores are secure for associate safety from theft internally and externally.
- Assists in the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures related to safety and
security training programs.
- Coordinate within Asset Protection team to ensure accurate and efficient deployment of resources.
- Assist with coverage for DST meetings and Asset Protection functions when Asset Protection Manager is not
available.
- Assist Asset Protection Manager with special projects.

Knowledge
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to state and local jurisdictions

- MS Office skills

Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
- Up to one year of related experience
