The George Washington University Hospital is Hiring a TELEPHONE OPERATOR Near Washington, DC
- Responsible for answering all internal and external telephones calls from the public and hospital staff.
- Callers are to be routed or paged per request to the Operator. At the request of the caller, the operator may need to unlock or reset a user’s computer, network, or application account password.
- The Operators are to follow all established policies, procedures and verbal orders from immediate supervisor or lead operator.
- Support the Hospitals organizational culture for Service Excellence Standards and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all internal and external customers. Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications:- High School degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience as telephone operator preferred.
- Able to speak and write English Fluently
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at a time.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communications skills both verbal and written.
- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- Demonstrates ability to understand process to reset and unlock user password accounts utilizing computer software.
