Main tasks include:
Telephone Operator
  • Responsible for answering all internal and external telephones calls from the public and hospital staff.
  • Callers are to be routed or paged per request to the Operator. At the request of the caller, the operator may need to unlock or reset a user’s computer, network, or application account password.
  • The Operators are to follow all established policies, procedures and verbal orders from immediate supervisor or lead operator.
  • Support the Hospitals organizational culture for Service Excellence Standards and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all internal and external customers. Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as telephone operator preferred.
  • Able to speak and write English Fluently
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at a time.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills
  • Demonstrates ability to understand process to reset and unlock user password accounts utilizing computer software.
