The Western ISAP Regional Technology Only Manager will primarily support DHS’ Areas of Responsibility in the PT and MT time zones. Candidates should live near a major continental U.S. airport, and the preferred candidate should reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zones.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Communications or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience working in corrections/electronic monitoring industries.
  • Solid knowledge of electronic monitoring operations and equipment.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
  • Current Driver’s License and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for travel to local customer sites.
  • Knowledge of Company operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think “out of the box”.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Advanced conflict management skills, including negotiation and problem/issue determination and resolution.

Responsibilities

Summary

Responsible for the oversight of the technology components of the ISAP IV contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within a specific area of responsibility. Drives business development and ensures efficient and effective delivery of Electronic Monitoring (EM) services in compliance with contractual obligations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees the roll-out, implementation and operation of the DHS operated Technology-only sites (T-Sites) within the assigned area of responsibility through the ISAP Regional Operations and Program Managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of EM services in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for business development of new T-Site locations and for building caseloads at existing T-Sites.
  • Coordinates with ISAP IV Regional Operations and Program Managers and internal departments to meet the training and support needs of the DHS Offices.
  • Coordinates with ISAP IV management staff and internal departments to develop and maintain EM policies and procedures for ISAP IV staff.
  • Consults routinely with ISAP IV management and operations staff to identify and report deficiencies and ensure that program requirements are being met.
  • Responsible for spares management in supervision offices, as well as billing reporting for DHS operated locations.
  • Proactively develops and implements strategies to mitigate lost and damaged equipment.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for DHS regarding technology questions and requests. Interacts with DHS staff as necessary to ensure that all support requirements are being met.
  • Monitors EM activities to identify and report deficiencies found. Develops plans for corrective action to ensure that all contract requirements are met.
  • Responsible for the on-going oversight of monitoring services, including training, equipment delivery and installation.
  • Works with DHS personnel and ISAP IV operational staff to resolve problems. Works with internal departments on corrective actions to remedy presenting issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay USD $108,000.00/Yr. to USD $115,000.00/Yr.
