This position is responsible for completing drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications. This position reports directly to the Drafting Manager. This position is entry level with no previous drafting experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assisting L.S.’s and survey crews when needed (i.e. providing coordinates, station numbers, etc.)

· Daily use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Company Survey Data and Imagery

· Ability to problem solve basic AutoCAD problems

· Drafting of alignment sheets, landowner plats, permit profiles, boundary surveys, well location plats, mortgage inspections, writing centerline and metes and bounds descriptions as well as compressor and valve site plats with contours

· Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

· Good interpersonal skills

· High attention to detail and organizational skills

· Proficiency in desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word)

· Positive attitude

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

· Ability to sit for long periods of time

· Must be able to pass required drug test

Experience:

· 0 years of experience (surveying/drafting)

· High school diploma or GED required
