The Garrett Group is in search of a Special Operations Analyst for an upcoming contract to fulfill pivotal roles at the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER). This position entails conducting essential assessments of service deployment certification events and mandatory prerequisite training crucial for deployments to assist Combatant Commands (CCMDs). JCER achieves this by meticulously evaluating venues, events, and units, adhering to standards such as the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework.
Required ExperienceQualifications for candidates include:

• Tactical and operational-level experience with Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS), communications equipment, and non-kinetic effects planning, execution, and evaluation processes.
• Proficiency in developing comprehensive mission analysis and integrating resources to determine capabilities for meeting mission requirements.
• Understanding of current Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities across various activities (such as direct action, special reconnaissance, countering weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, hostage rescue and recovery, counterinsurgency, foreign humanitarian assistance, military information support operations, and civil affairs operations) with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO to provide recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on JCER evaluations.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Special Operations expertise, encompassing air, land, and sea/naval special operations and combat systems.

Desired Experience

• Analyzing threat data and controlling the receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information.
• Evaluating emerging EMSO threats to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results.
• Operational employment experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) and spectrum management.
• Training and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly recommended for individuals lacking desired military leadership experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic-level research regarding the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats on joint operations.
• Conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events, ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection, and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity.
• Collaborating with partnering agencies with shared interests to support data collection, reduction, or Joint EMS Operations (JEMSO) in conjunction with JCER operations.
