The Garrett Group is in search of an experienced Antenna/RF/Signals Engineer to fulfill vital responsibilities at the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) in a future contract. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for conducting routine assessments of service deployment certification events and mandatory prerequisite training crucial for supporting Combatant Commands (CCMDs). JCER relies on thorough evaluations of venues, events, and units, while ensuring adherence to established standards such as the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework.
QualificationsRequired Experience:

• Proficient in creating and executing detailed test plans for antenna performance evaluations.
• Experience in programming languages such as C , MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages.
• Background in applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability, or a comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials.
• Ability to study new system-level features and collaborate with engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies for evaluation.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, related engineering, or physics discipline from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience.

Desired Experience

• Experience in creating test plans to qualify and quantify different modulation schemes as required for various wireless communication systems.
• Ability to provide recommendations to cross-functional teams on resolving wireless system issues, including baseband algorithms and RF/Antenna systems.

Duties

• Develop and implement antenna system collection plans for JCER evaluations of Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) events.
