Gardens at Paulding provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living services to families in Paulding, Ohio and surrounding communities. Our professional and dedicated staff works diligently to create a warm, inviting and reassuring home-like setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Perform various nursing procedures, including catheterization and cardiac catheterization
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of {location}
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care or medical office
- Knowledge of various medical procedures and equipment, including neonatal ventilators and ophthalmology equipment
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices
- Ability to provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
