Job Overview:

As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports young children's learning and growth. Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a variety of engaging activities to promote learning, including literacy education, arts and crafts, music, and physical activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and cooperation
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience
- Create a safe and healthy environment by following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques

Qualifications:
- At least 12 units in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
