Premier dining and entertainment venue seeks a talented Floor Manager. The Galley and The Adelphia Music Hall are located at the epicenter of Historic Marietta, Ohio. Known for premium steaks, fresh seafood, gourmet burgers and a large, tavern-style menu, The Galley is housed in a complex of beautifully restored buildings, circa 1899. Multiple levels of indoor and outdoor dining areas complement the state-of-the-art Adelphia Music Hall which offers the finest musical entertainment available in the region today.
The Floor Manager is expected to be a key leader of his or her restaurant management team and is expected to help direct their team toward achieving excellence in restaurant operations and customer service. As a leader, you are expected to help guide, motivate, and mentor others in the restaurant, while also developing your management skills and understanding of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer service by managing daily restaurant operations.
- Direct efficient and accurate preparation of sale of products for prompt customers delivery within the established speed of service and food safety guidelines.
- Implement and shift plan to ensure smooth production.
- Manage team members and shift coordinators on team stations, products, processes, and policies.
- Assist with all front and back of house duties.
- Assist General Manager by overseeing an assigned shift.
- Coach hourly employees on brand standards, corporate policies and procedures, and other guest-focused programs/activities to meet or exceed guest service standards.
- Work with General Manager to attract, hire, onboard, and retain competitive hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and guest service standards.
- Bring employee relation issues, deviations from brand standards, and other guest issues to the attention of the General Manager.
- Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets.
- Enforce sanitary practice for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- Follows management cash handling, inventory, and other operational procedures.
- Complete all other tasks and duties as assigned.
