Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, talented and creative Bra Designer to join our team as a contractor. As a Bra Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative and stylish bra designs that meet the needs and preferences of our target market. You will work closely with our design team to research current fashion trends, analyze consumer preferences, and translate insights into unique bra designs that reflect our brand's aesthetic.

Responsibilities:

- Research current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences related to lingerie and bra designs.

- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new bra concepts that align with our brand's vision and target audience.

- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes of bra designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software and traditional hand-drawing techniques. Must be able to create/edit tech packs.

- Select appropriate materials, trims, and embellishments for each bra design, ensuring they meet quality and cost requirements.

- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials, develop prototypes, and oversee the production process.

- Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure that bra designs meet comfort, support, and sizing requirements.

- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and advancements in bra design techniques.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Bra Designer or Lingerie Designer, preferably within the fashion industry.

- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Strong sketching and illustration skills, with a keen eye for detail and proportion.

- Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fit principles, particularly for intimate apparel.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Passion for lingerie and intimate apparel, with a creative and innovative mindset.

- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in the lingerie industry.
