Hours: About 12 to 20/hrs a week: 7am to 10am shifts
Availability: 4-5 days/week, mornings.

Opportunity for additional hours are available when covering a shift for a colleague.

Our many facilities are looking for a driven and excited people to grow with our growing business as a Janitorial Associate!

Job Summary

The Janitorial Associate is responsible for, under direction of the Site Supervisor, performing regular maintenance for our facility. The position ensures the cleanliness of our facilities are upheld appropriately by carrying out routine inspections and audits to identify hazardous conditions and apply corrective action. As well as assisting with operator needs.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring the common areas of facility are maintained, clean, and up to standards
- Organization and cleaning of supplies and tools
- Assisting the facility operators with basic troubleshooting and reporting any issues

Facility Maintenance:
- Intermittent deep cleaning of common areas like facility walkways and bathrooms
- Tending to and maintaining cleanliness of exterior parking lot and sidewalks
- Removal of weeds and trimming of bushes with provided equipment
- Weekly commercial hood filter cleaning, and oil caddies

Customer Service:
- Act as the company representative when the manager is out of office(only if and when the situation arises)
- Basic troubleshooting with various technology(can be trained)

Qualifications

• An approachable and positive attitude
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Able to handle customer-facing interactions with kitchens and other stakeholders, promoting a customer-focused environment
• Able to manage time and duties with minimal supervision
• 12 to 20 hours per week commitment, including early mornings or weekends (Open for discussion)
• Technical intuition to quickly problem solve
• Professional verbal and written communications
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
• Physically able to work outdoors periodically, climb ladders, traverse roof spaces, and bend or crawl into awkward spaces
• Comfortability with using tools for light handwork
