Location: Bay Point, CA
Duration: 12 months to start
Hourly Rate on W2: $35-45/hour based on previous experience
W2 only.
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of plant, facility utilities, electrical and mechanical equipment, utilizing contractors and outside services when necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule, document findings, order parts, and make repairs as needed.
- Develop skills in machining, alignment, welding, electrical work, pipefitting, preventative as well as predictive maintenance, with the ability to train others in at least two or more of these areas
- Maintain all facility systems and utilities including boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, sprinklers, gas piping, chillers, process water, HVAC, pest control, alarm, sanitary, and storm sewer systems
- Perform work orders as assigned, communicate the status of mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance issues to affected team members and departments, and document any major problem areas.
- 2-5 years of experience working in a maintenance role for a manufacturing/industrial company.
- Background as an electrician is a plus
- Technical certification/degree a plus
- Proven ability to work in compliance with safety and health standards as well as site policies.
