My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours.

This position is located in Morris Plains, NJ. Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

• Pay rate range : $36.20-$47.56 / hr.
• 2nd shift position : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment’s
• Troubleshoot and finds permanent solutions to recurring equipment issues
• Maintains and performs lock out / tag out
• Conducts monthly inspection of eye wash center, fire extinguisher, and housekeeping audits
• Will be required to place orders for machine parts and tools
• Maintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment, grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Electrical systems, including lighting, circuits, and equipment
• Water supply, drains, pipes and appliances
• Pneumatic air supply, including air compressor
• Material handling equipment, such as lift trucks and racking
• Office furniture and office partition systems
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High School or equivalent
• 2-4 years’ work experience
• HVAC systems experience
• Ability to perform pipefitting work on water, gas and pneumatic systems
• Ability to locate and install new plant equipment, including all electrical, pipe fitting, rigging, and millwright work
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools to perform mechanical installations
• Ability to wear required safety equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and blueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently on projects
