Assistant Operations Manager, [FULL-TIME]

We're hiring an Assistant Operations Manager for The Founders Club HOA in Sarasota, Florida

They provide for the overall repair and maintenance of the entire facility and grounds under the Operations manager and Community manager. This includes conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, assist with community concerns, managing contracted services; and more.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work on-call, as needed. This includes competitive compensation starting at $46,000 salary with ability to increase rate after 90 days. This includes a fully sponsored benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Managing contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and common grounds
• Ensures that grounds maintenance and irrigation maintenance is performed and kept to established standards
• Diagnose and Treat Turf and Landscape if needed
• Operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the grounds, irrigation and facility maintenance
• Maintenance of common ground irrigation, lights and utilities
• Maintains recreation center and courts as scheduled
• Assist with Security, recreations, sales center, Golf club and more, if prompted
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve Board and resident satisfaction
• Responsive communication and capability to be on-call in case of emergency or special projects

Education and Experience Requirements

• Two or more years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Experience in facilities/ landscape maintenance preferred
• Irrigation experience highly preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pesticide Applicators License is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and email
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

Working Conditions

• Frequently stands, walks, and sits
• Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks, and hears
• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, and pulls
• Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds
• Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions
• Occasionally works in wet or humid (non-weather) conditions
• Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
• The noise level is moderate
