The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a Spanish teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy as a member of the staff, providing engaging opportunities for students to learn, and contributing to the culture and climate of the school community in a positive and meaningful way. This is a permanent full-time position.
Qualifications
● Support for and engagement in the school’s mission
● Investment in student success
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● New Hampshire state teaching certification preferred
● Previous experience preferred
● Knowledge of curriculum development preferred
Responsibilities
● Plan and implement engaging content specific lessons
● Assess student growth
● Communicate clearly and consistently with families
● Provide feedback to students
● Work with our special education team to design differentiated learning experiences
● Develop curriculum
● Work with administration to uphold and support all school policies and procedures
● Other school duties assigned to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment
Summary
Desirable qualities are teaching experience, a passion for the content, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher to assist in the development and implementation of an innovative curriculum according to his or her own talents and interests.
