Temp to perm possible conversion

Shift: Monday-Friday

Pay: $18/hr

Location: Queens, NY

Paraprofessional

Duties:
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Provide support and assistance to teachers in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques.
- Provide one-on-one support to children who require additional attention and care.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with daily activities, such as mealtime, naptime, and outdoor play.
- Assist with toilet training and personal care needs.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and experience working with children on the spectrum.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
