We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Independent Living Specialists to come

Qualifications:

• Must have a GED or HS diploma
• Must be familiar with CARES and AWARDS
• Must have prior experience with the MICA population

Duties

• Provide comprehensive case management services to a challenging caseload of mentally ill, homeless adults.
• Assist with obtaining benefits, referrals for treatment, monitoring hygiene and teaching independent living skills, escorts to and advocacy for entitlements and housing appointments, and housing placement.
• Facilitate weekly psycho educational group.
• Generate ongoing progress and group notes as well as monthly statistical reports. Participate in clinical team, case conference, and other staff meetings.
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned
