The Ford Store Morgan Hill is Hiring a Parts Advisor Near Morgan Hill, CA
The Ford Store Morgan Hill is one of the best family-owned and operated Ford dealerships in the Bay Area. We are currently seeking a full-time Parts Counter Person to join our expanding business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
- Verify “will call” and “back order” files weekly and return to vendors or stock those items not required. Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
- Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
- Order parts not in stock.
- Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received.
- Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person.
- Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers.
- Keep your work counter area clean and uncluttered.
- Keep current on new products and product updates.
- Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time. (multi-task)
- Participate in all training programs that are made available.
- Keep a professional personal appearance and have a good attitude
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Automotive Parts Sales Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
- Weekend availability

Pay Scale:
The Counter Person Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $25.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.
