JOB SUMMARY:
Provides general labor to maintain the daily operations of the laundry facility at The Ford Field and River Club. Provides hotel style room cleaning in our Ford Main House.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Washes, dries, and folds all Company terry and linen using commercial equipment, as assigned.
2. Professionally cleans to Ford standards the hotel style Main House rooms.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Performs additional related duties as assigned and assists other departments as requested.
2. Treats all members and guests in a friendly, respectful manner in accordance with the standards of excellence set forth by The Ford Field and River Club.
3. Understands and follows policies and procedures of the department and The Ford Field and River Club overall.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have previous hotel cleaning experience and know how to use common household cleaning equipment.
3. Skills test required for folding.
4. Some knowledge of and the ability to operate commercial laundry equipment preferred.
5. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
6. Must have valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Lifts 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds. Ability to operate light machinery and hand equipment. Vision must be correctable to read and write. Hearing must be sufficient to understand directions in a noisy environment. Must be able to withstand occasionally high temperatures. Must have hand usage to complete forms and use equipment. Occasional irregular hours, to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
