The Foot & Ankle Clinic, LLC is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Lakewood, OH

Searching for a medical assistant in a busy hands-on practice. Administrative / back office experience is a plus! Need reliable transportation. Please provide your Educational background and and any certifications with resume.

Patient Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients to obtain history of present illness, past medical history, social history, current medications, review systems
  • Document in EPIC and present patient to doctors
  • Assist with radiographs, casting, bandages, injections
  • Assist with in office procedures and post operative appointments

Office Responsibilties:

  • Insurance authorization calls
  • Use electronic medical records, scheduling programs, Google Drive, Calendar and Documents.
  • Make patient calls to explain benefits and Scheduling the authorizations
  • Dispensible medical equipment: Inventory & Schedule pick up
  • Ordering office Supplies and Stock rooms
  • Fielding small day to day problem tech such as Xray, phones, scanner isn’t working
  • Print schedules and pull charts for next day
  • Schedule surgeries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
