Job Summary

The IT Support Technician provides support and resolves technical issues for internal employees ranging from hardware, software, e-mail exchange, and server connectivity. The Support Technician will report directly to the Chief Information officer. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist internal employees with IT-related matters, remotely or in-person, such as password resets, printer issues, account lockouts, etc.
• Daily routine work on PCs and laptops including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Provide training and support to staff and other end-users on device operations and applications
• Maintain inventory of the Bank’s IT hardware and software
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills/Abilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software program
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Time management and prioritization 
• Ability to work independently and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to self-learn and troubleshoot IT related items

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relatable experience in an IT support or network field

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
