Field Applications Engineer

The Role

NOCO is seeking a Field Applications Engineer. This role reports to the Vice President of Engineering and is based in our R&D facility in Peoria AZ. The Field Applications Engineer will provide technical and applications support for NOCO customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with R&D engineering to become an applications expert on NOCO products.
• Provide engineering-level technical support for customers when issues are escalated from technical support.
• Provide applications engineering support for key NOCO customers.
• Work with NOCO sales to evaluate and test applications for potential customers.
• Participate in field testing and product installations for NOCO products.
• Manage and coordinate beta testing for new products.
• This is a customer-facing role, requiring direct interaction with NOCO customers.
• Some travel is required.

Essential knowledge and Experience

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience.
• Understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with lab test equipment: DMM, oscilloscope, Data Acquisition, etc.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate has experience or knowledge in some of the following areas.

• Power Electronics
• Technical Support or Field Applications Engineering
• Batteries, battery chargers, jump starters, or similar technology.
