To successfully install all types of fencing in an accurate and timely manner. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently or with another team member. To participate as a team member to achieve optimal business functions and customer relations. To have a commitment to excellence, integrity, accountability and treat every employee and customer with courtesy and respect.
· Knowledge of Vinyl, Chain Link, wood, Aluminum, Ranch, Farm and Ornamental Iron fence installation.
· Verify that all parts, materials and tools needed for project installation are on vehicle before leaving shop.
· Measure and lay out fence lines and mark postholes positions by following shop drawings, blueprints or specifications.
· Align posts using lines or by sighting and verify vertical alignment of posts.
· Understand markings and follow requirements for underground utility safety prior to digging.
· Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
· Knowledge of operating various hand and power tools.
· Perform job site cleanup at the conclusion of an installation.
· Cleaning and maintaining tools, and vehicle.
· Any and all other duties as may be assigned by management.
· Knowledge of carpentry tools.
· Ability to lift and carry 60lbs or more
· Attention to detail
· Experience with hauling trailers and backing up trucks with a trailer.
· Must be positive team player with a “can-do” attitude and treat other team members with respect.
· Valid drivers license with acceptable driver record
· At least 5 years of experience
· Acceptable back ground history
· Ability to work overtime, to include weekends when needed
