The Family Health Centers of GA, Inc. is Hiring a Community Relations - Outreach Manager | ACA Navigator Near Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries regarding ACA health insurance plans and FHCGA’s services via telephone, in-person, email, text, fax, or mail.
  • Distribute materials to promote ACA health insurance plans and FHCGA’s services within targeted communities, including managing internal and external table displays.
  • Schedule and conduct individual and group presentations in-person, via the web, at FHCGA locations, or in the community to educate existing and potential consumers about ACA health insurance plans and FHCGA’s services.
  • Maintain contact with existing and potential consumers interested in ACA health insurance plans to track enrollment and/or re-enrollment.
  • Research health fairs, events and community meetings to determine appropriateness of FHCGA/ACA representation; also maintain participation schedule and document outcomes.
  • Represent FHCGA/ACA at community and business events, including but not limited to, schools, places of worship, health fairs, events, neighborhood meetings, retail outlets, and public forums.
  • Identify and build community partnerships to provide ACA health insurance enrollment assistance to existing and potential consumers; and to promote FHCGA’s services.
  • Maintain database of contacts for FHCGA’s partners, e.g., Right from the Start Medicaid, Georgia Families, GA Department of Community Health, and Georgia’s Care Management Organizations (CMOs).
  • Research data and confer with DOM to create, develop and implement ideas for increasing consumer engagement, retaining existing consumers and recruiting new consumers.
  • Help maintain accurate ACA health insurance information on FHCGA’s publications: handbills, posters, social media, website, and paid advertisement.
  • Assist with developing concepts and proofing print communications (e.g., texts, emails, faxes, letters, postcards, promotional materials, and presentations) for accuracy of information, brand consistency, correct grammar and spelling, use of approved FHCGA images, fonts and PMS colors; correct “call-to-action” and contact information; correct event date, time and location; cultural and linguistical appropriateness for targeted audiences; and desired creativity.
  • Assist with marketing events and campaigns, e.g., direct mail, email, text, telemarketing, and social media by accurately preparing labels, scheduling postage, obtaining distribution list, checking list for accuracy, preparing list for use, and distributing messaging.
  • Maintain accurate supply of marketing, educational and promotional materials at presentations, health fairs, table displays, and events. Keep internal supply storage areas organized.
  • Execute marketing strategies to meet the Marketing Department and FHCGA’s goals.
  • Serve on assigned Marketing Department and FHCGA committees and project teams.
  • Serve as team leader for assigned events and projects, including coordinating and managing event logistics.
  • Assist with assigned facility tours and site inspections.
  • Act as a consumer advocate. Resolve or direct existing or potential consumers to appropriate contact(s) to resolve problems associated with consumer’s access to health insurance plans and/or access to FHCGA’s services.
  • Assist with conducting consumer surveys, including patient satisfaction surveys and consumer focus groups, around ACA health insurance enrollment assistance provided.
  • Assist with training event volunteers, Marketing Department Ambassadors and other FHCGA staff on the Marketing Department and FHCGA’s standards, policies and procedures.
  • Submit required reports (e.g., productivity, statistical data, contact reports, business health services surveys, and event participation results) accurately and timely.
  • Screen and direct all media inquiries to the appropriate FHCGA staff.

LICENSING

ACA Navigator Licensing required. Training and license fees will be paid by employer.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
