The Family Dental Boutique is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Saint Petersburg, FL

Private practice in St. Pete looking to add TWO experienced, dental assistants to their team! The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring the comfort of patients while providing superior chair-side clinical support and assist the Doctor with charting and patient education. Candidate must love dentistry. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: helping manage patient flow, operatory set-up and clean up, take and process x-rays, has knowledge and practices appropriate sterilization techniques, and help to stress the importance of good oral health. We are looking for someone who is a quick-thinker and can adapt accordingly. Candidate must be proficient in full mouth x-rays and intra-oral photos. Knowledge of scanning is a plus, as well as impression taking.

This is a strictly PPO office, with a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday (with an occasional Friday). This is a non-corporate setting. Pay is negotiable and based on experience and capability. Dentrix knowledge would be great, as well as past experience as a dental assistant, and current x-ray certification.

Benefits are as follows:

· 401k offered after 90 days of continuous employment

· Uniforms will be provided after 90 days of continuous employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Required)
