The Evergreen Gallery on the historic Downtown Main Street is looking for a casual, fun, dependable and energetic art lover and sales person with admin skills who lives within Evergreen, or very close by. The Owl Cat Shoppe is a second satellite shop, within walking distance next to Muddy Buck Cafe.

Part-time work 2-4 days a week including a weekend day at least 3 weekends a month.

I am in search of the perfect team player who can multi-task and loves a very busy day that goes by quickly.

The main gallery brings lots of moments to enjoy and to keep you in a happy place. There are nearly 100 Colorado artists and their artwork to learn about and maintain. We also have many locals and tourists coming in regularly to buy gifts and artwork for their homes. The second shop is a fun, easy retail shop with lots of people popping in.

As a team member, I will expect of you:

To offer genuine, lovely customer service to our wonderful customers all year long; Greeting customers with a warm welcome.

To be great at sales, or at least commit to learning how to sell the work of our artists;

To perform daily and ongoing computer work with Excel and Word and our custom point-of-sales software. Computer skills are definitely required for this job;

To get to know and work with eclectic artists and their artwork;

To enjoy working with lovely co-workers, to bring on the joy and leave your problems at home;

To maintain and create art displays, including handling large wall, glass and ceramic pieces;

To water our plants now and then, as well as wrangle critters that may come through the door;

To be available to work a combination of weekends and weekdays, especially during the holiday season;

To completely refrain from sharing politics, as this is a happy place without drama.

To be able to handle being actively on your feet most of the day. We are a very active shop with lots of multi-tasking above and beyond sitting in a chair all day. Lots of creative and people outlets.

To be able to package, gift box and tie a ribbon on multiple gift purchases during the day, many that are fragile. Don't worry, we can teach this.

To be able to take orders over the phone for shipping.

To be able to correspond by writing emails to customers, artists and co-workers.
