Description

The Eric Fisher Salon is seeking Salon Attendants to provide light housekeeping duties for our fast-paced salon. The attendant contributes to the salon culture by supporting our team of stylists and taking pride in the overall appearance of the salon.

Responsibilities include sweeping hair, emptying trash, and laundering towels and capes. The attendant will also prepare beverages for clients and keep the salon neat, clean, and well stocked.

We have several shifts available including nights and weekends. Qualified candidates are reliable, friendly, and professional.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Positive, professional attitude
• Passion for customer service and the beauty industry
• Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time
• Ability to climb up and down stairs
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the salon by sweeping the floor, picking up dirty towels and used foils, clearing the clutter, straightening the magazines, and performing restroom checks every few hours as needed
• Launder capes and towels
• Ensure the shampoo areas are kept clean and well stocked with towels and products
• Empty trash as needed
• Clean color bowls and wash dishes as needed
• Sweep and wipe down the stations between clients
• Fold foils
• Clean and maintain the back bar shampoo area and wax station
• Treat every guest the way you would like to be treated in a high-end salon by offering beverages and magazines

Essential Functions:

• Always look the part of a polished professional; you must be in dress code for every shift
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Follow all State Board of Cosmetology Rules and Regulations
• Maintain Eric Fisher Salon standards of Enlightened Hospitality
